Viêt Nam Plus (France) and Mekong Plus (Belgium) join forces to promote community development in poor rural areas of Vietnam and Cambodia. Focus is put on strong participation of everyone and on training.

Community development
is the central goal.

With 3 basic priciples:

  • Target the poorest, who often live with less than 1/3 € per day and per person
  • Emphasize the participation of all
  • Ultimate sustainability of all programs.

Viêt Nam Plus (France) and Mekong Plus (Belgium) are one organization in Vietnam, while Mekong Plus also supports programs in Cambodia.

People's participation is central, and the activities are therefore diverse: Les actions sont diverses: micro credit, new agriculture techniques, training of para vets, protection of the environment, generation of employment, action-theatre. In Vietnam we work closely with Thiên Chí, a local NGO, and in Cambodia with RADE, CFED, and PTEA.
